I know a guy from Singapore. He said that Singapore and Malaysia hate one another primarily because Malaysia is Muslim. This is why Singapore has mandatory military service btw. There's a lot of tension there, unlike the Velvet Divorce where Czechia and Slovakia split peacefully without a shot being fired or future tensions.

What all people in Canada need to realize is that this place is being dismantled by foreigners. Our 'leaders' are merely carrying out orders on their behalf.
So when I hear talk of Alberta separation, what I am seeing is a group of people who see the problem (at least somewhat) but have a naive understanding of reality. Those responsible for allowing this destruction to happen to Canada are NOT going to allow a referendum vote to change anything, even if it's overwhelmingly in favour.
Look at what happened with the UK and 'Brexit' - it was contested, argued against and watered down to the point that it didn't a difference in the end. The UK is worse than its ever been.
We aren't dealing with reasonable people in government - they want you dead. They don't care about your signature lists, votes, or any of that. However, they DO care about your guns, which is why they want them. They don't respect the law or human dignity, they only value power (which is only real if it's backed up by force)
In fact, it's far more likely that those lists of names and signatures will end up in the hands of the communists, who will then use that information to ruin them. Communists LOVE their death lists. Once you out yourself as an enemy of the state, you are at their mercy (hint: they have none)
At the risk of sounding like a pessimist, I don't think there's a way to bring the old Canada back. It has been destroyed just like the rest of the West, with tidal waves of indoctrination and population replacement. The old stock Canadians have been convinced to hate themselves and that being dead is preferable to being 'a racist' by standing up for their own people.
If Alberta or any other entity in the West wants self-determination, it can't be paid for in signatures. It would need to be paid for in blood. Most of us are too fat and domesticated to make the sacrifice necessary to achieve this.
