I would purchase one just to see if i could start a trend where my Elonbot carries me to work and even takes me right to my office chair setting me down gently of course. Imagine if it caught on. Millions of people getting a piggy back to work on their robots?? That be so cool i would high five people as we pass each other and swap sandwiches.

How else will people get to work now that Elon wont make ev? In his robot taxis? Like people can afford that and wait for one and be on time.

Additionally and this could be really helpful i would ask it to not be useless and guard my office door and give anyone the middle finger who dare approach or walk past my office in a defensive position.

You don't need your robot to carry you to work, it will be doing your job. As for autonomous cars, well that's the idea. Once they become common human driven cars will be outlawed, not safe your know, and if you don't have enough social credits then the only way you're getting anywhere is shank's mule.

Elon Musk understands something about business many people don't. Government subsidies are free money so creating a product/service that governments want is a sure-way to profit on the tax-payers dime.

EVs were the rave a decade ago but they've slowly subsided. Musk lost a lot of his subsidies from the government under the BBB that Trump pushed through.

Robots are something the government is going to want. Robots are essentially a spy in every person's home that can immediately report you to the government for wrong-think and furthermore, robots will be stronger than humans so the robot can incapacitate misbehaving humans.

Governments are going to LOVE these robots. They won't be able to throw enough subsidies at them. People will be getting them free. You'll all pay for it in taxes ofc. Musk can see this reality playing out. Who needs Cameras on every corner to track crime when you have robots in every home and on every corner and everywhere. It's extremely dystopian but it's coming.

They'll market them as rape guards for women, as replacement dogs to help the blind walk, as sexbots for incels, and for old people that have limited mobility, etc... before long, they'll be everywhere and they will be there to control you worse than any social credit score anyone has envisioned. Anyone looking to get away from them will be shunned by society and perhaps not even allowed to partake in certain aspects. A little subsidized government agent to control every little slave in society. 100% paid for by you! And Musk will profit whether you want him to or not.

@CaptainTrouble Musk did say the robots could be used to stay with Criminals and keep them from commiting crime. Perhaps he meant ever single person is a criminal? Sounds like if you dont purchase one then you will be given one potentially to keep you honest. I also saw a interview where he says that because of medical deaths being the number 1 cause of death he predicts his robots will solve this issue and that we wont need doctors no more. What a swell guy my Musk is. I cant wait for it to operate on me in the night and remove my medulla oblongata and make me into a human vegetable

Robots taking peoples jobs will free up people to spend more time doing people things, like going bankrupt because there’s no work, spiralling into drugs and alcohol, and doing fentanyl.

Perhaps like in Europe where there are blade runners to destroy the surveillance state people will need to rise up and slay the bots i.e BOTSLAYERS

The only good surveillance bot is a dead one.

I recommend that people start watching Highlander and fashion swords out of scrap metal you melt down and forge in your own backyard or living room. If it saves one life your efforts are worth it
