I believe it’s over the port in Nuuk, it does not freeze so a blue water port that is functional year round, and it gives control over one of the entrances to the north west passage, while the essentially maintain the other passage through Alaska. Total control of the arctic and its minerals. If any other country wants to get involved there is going to be some sort of duty paid to the US, or the other side of the coin it’s just the US securing it for themselves.

I don’t think it has anything to do with Trump, just the perfect man for the deep state to use to achieve their goals, he is already disliked so wha is there to lose.

@Hirudinea It was a joke. You know, a joke? Like it or not, what Trump is doing is actually authorized. As CIC, he doesn't have to disclose to the public all their military operations because when you're taking back your country (COOP) from foreign and domestic enemies who've assumed control, he can do whatever he thinks is right.

You know the U.S. had, by treaty, the right to put all the bases in Greenland they want to ensure it's security? Trump could put 1 U.S. soldier every square foot in Greenland if he wanted, so why does he need to "own" it to secure it?

Then, you can do whatever the hell you want to do to secure it and use it.
