@ChevChelios I totally understand your take, there's nuance to every situation. If this was 1980, I would tend to agree with you, it's an overreaction.
However, those days are over. We don't live in a high trust society anymore. We don't see it because we are behind a computer screen but that city is crawling with bloodthirsty communists. If they get the sense that they can get away with harassing and assaulting federal agents without consequences, then they will take full advantage. Innocents will die at their hands. (many already have)
Think back to Saint George Floyd, the patron saint of drug dealers. There wasn't any problem with what Derek Chauvin did. And yet HE was treated like a criminal while the perp was given a state funeral. They denied justice for the sake of political optics.
I already mentioned Charlie Kirk in another thread, again I have to point out that this would have been unthinkable just 30 years ago.
This is the world they helped create. You can't complain now when you start catching bullets and taking losses.
This is still the early stage, get ready because I expect the violence to ramp up in the years ahead.
