Issues:
-Avoid applying direct pressure to the back of the knees.
- Avoid massaging varicose veins.

NO!!!!
You may dislodge a blood clot if you massage over varicose veins, so in the interest of an overabundance of caution, just skip legs entirely.

Do this 5 - 10 minutes per leg.

As you move down to working on the legs, you may want to either stand next to the bed or kneel next to them on the bed.

You will want to direct your strokes up toward the buttocks, instead of down towards the feet. Pull the blanket over and tuck it between their legs to expose one leg at the time.
When you are finished with one leg, recover it, and uncover the next leg. If you would like to work on both at the same time, just tuck the blankets between their legs and massage both legs simultaneously.
When working on the back of the legs, you will want to focus time on the back of the thighs (hamstrings) and the calf muscles.

These areas tend to be quite sore. Using the same open palm strokes, apply firm pressure and long strokes. Avoid direct pressure behind the knee, and if they have any varicose veins, avoid the area.

Feel free to spend as much time on the legs as is necessary. As always, use your intuition when you feel it is time to move on.

Now get them to turn over face up, and proceed to last week's foot massage. I wanted to do legs first but some fetishist from Saskatchewan was impatient.

I recommend massaging their feet when you turn your partner over face up, but it is always nice to apply a bit of lotion or oil to the soles of their feet, while massaging the backs of their legs.

When working on the front of the legs, first, pull the sheet over to expose the first leg you will be massaging. Just tuck the sheet between your partner’s legs.
You will want to spend a bit of time on the quads, which is the top of the thigh. This area is usually tight.

As with the rest of the massage, use long, firm, flowing strokes toward the top of the leg. You always want to massage toward the core of the body, instead of the extremities.

Avoid the IT band.
