Canadians keep asking the wrong question about Mark Carney. They keep asking whether he is a good politician. That is like asking whether a locksmith is a good interior decorator.

Carney is not here to govern. He is here to re-engineer the operating system of the country while the Liberal Party provides the helpful stage props and applause track. And judging by how little scrutiny this government receives, the audience seems perfectly content to clap at whatever is placed in front of them, provided it comes with soothing words like “stability,” “resilience,” and “the experts agree.

”The problem is not that Mark Carney is incompetent. The problem is that he is extremely competent at something Canadians never actually consented to.The Technocrat’s Trick:Most politicians need legislation to impose their will.Technocrats do not.Technocrats redesign the machinery so that the outcome becomes inevitable. No messy debate. No inconvenient voters. No public reckoning. Just “the framework,” “the model,” “the standard,” and eventually the quiet conclusion that there is “no alternative.

”And this is precisely the world Mark Carney comes from.He did not rise through grassroots politics or party service. He rose through central banks, global finance institutions, and elite climate-finance bodies that speak fluent acronym and consider democracy an optional inconvenience. The man does not campaign. He architects. While Canadians were busy arguing about slogans and selfies, Carney was helping wire the global financial system so that climate policy would be enforced through capital markets, lending rules, disclosure regimes, and regulatory pressure. Translation for non-Liberal Party members: the real power is not in Parliament anymore. It is in the plumbing.Once that plumbing is installed, governments do not need to “ban” anything. They simply make certain activities impossible to finance, impossible to insure, impossible to justify on paper. Then the Liberal Party shows up at the microphone and explains, very sadly, that the system requires sacrifice, your sacrifice, and please stop asking questions because the experts have spoken.

The Conflict No One Wants to Touch: After helping build the global transition-finance machine, Carney stepped directly into a senior role at Brookfield, one of the largest beneficiaries of the very transition strategies he championed. Then he became Prime Minister. If that does not make Liberal Party communications directors break out in hives, they might want to check their pulse. This is not about alleging crimes. This is about incentives. When a person designs the rules of the game, then runs a major player inside that game, then takes control of the referee’s booth, Canadians are entitled to ask whether public policy is being written for public benefit or portfolio performance.Instead, the Liberal Party waves its favorite prop, the one labeled “conspiracy theorist,” and hopes no one notices that their Prime Minister’s career path looks less like public service and more like a perfectly closed loop.

The Rhetoric of Soft Tyranny: Listen to Carney speak and you will hear the same words, again and again.Risk.Stability.Resilience.Transition.Competitiveness.Investor certainty. These words are not neutral. They are governance tools. They shift politics from “What do Canadians want?” to “What does the system require?”Once you accept that framing, disagreement becomes irresponsible. Dissent becomes dangerous. Objections become unscientific. And the Liberal Party is very happy to stand behind that shield, nod gravely, and inform Canadians that their suffering is simply the price of being on the right side of history. The beauty of technocratic power is that it does not look like power. It looks like inevitability. And inevitability is the favorite costume of authoritarian thinking.

The Democratic Deficit No One Voted For: Canadians were sold a calm, competent adult in the room. What they got was an unelected system engineer quietly converting moral claims into financial constraints. This is not leadership. It is non-consensual governance.Parliament is not debating these structural transformations in any meaningful way. Canadians are not being asked whether they accept the economic costs, the affordability consequences, the industry damage, the regional fallout, or the long-term trade implications. They are simply being informed that the models demand obedience. And the Liberal Party, faithful as ever, beams proudly while lecturing citizens about responsibility and #sacrifice from the comfort of power they never actually earned.

The Op-Ed That Should Have Been Written: Mark Carney is not the saviour the Liberals pretend he is.He is the embodiment of a governing class that believes the public’s role is to comply, pay, and remain politely confused.Canadians are not being governed. They are being managed. The tragedy is not that @MarkJCarney is a technocrat. The tragedy is that the Liberal Party is perfectly happy to hand him the country and then scold the public for noticing. If Canadians want a future where choices are still made by voters instead of algorithms and advisory panels, they are going to have to stop applauding this performance and start asking the one question that truly terrifies technocrats and their obedient political enablers: Who exactly decided this for us?Because it was not the voters. And the longer the #Liberal Party pretends otherwise, the more obvious the con becomes.

Sam Francis’ book, ‘Leviathan and its Enemies’ is relevant here: “… the mega-state exists for the purpose of social manipulation. Its elite, trained in the techniques of social engineering and social therapy, gains power and budgetary resources by inventing social problems and crises, and then designing and applying solutions for them.”

Carney is just a high level manager within the administrative state. He serves himself and those at the very top. The middle class government stooges (teachers, politicians, bankers, media) likewise serve themselves (muh gibs) and the same system.

It is not ‘right’ versus ‘left’ so much as the Borg versus the rest of us.

One thing I disagree with, is that she says he is unelected. Canadians under our FPTP system absolutely did elect this clown. The problem is that a critical mass of Canadians are fucking stupid.

Really? So, we have a corrupt Westminster parliamentary system, non-proportional representation and other forms of election rigging (like crossing the aisle later on to help form a majority government), constant legacy Fake News propaganda, gaslighting, astroturfing, and fake polls. But, who'd know that in a Marxist-globalist-run facade of a country? My guess is the critical mass of Canadians is Conservative and more awake than ever and has been for quite some time.

Before Trudeau stepped down we were in the middle of a scandal with regards to foreign countries interfering in our elections.

We held an election without this ever being addressed and recieved an let's just say unlikely result.

Probably going back to the polls again without this being addressed.

All elections are now fake and gay because of this.

Elbows up for the party embroiled in scandal with regards to countries meddling in our elections.

Either the elections are fake and gay or Canadians have to lose their sovereignty for the place to ever improve.

I believe the elections are fake ‘n gay AND the average Canadian is so brainwashed that they need to suffer a lot more before they’ll want change. We just need the normies to get to the point where they’ll simply step aside and at least not stop those who are trying to improve things. We’re getting closer but not quite there yet.

Yes since inception
constant legacy Fake News propaganda, gaslighting, astroturfing, and fake polls.
Yes since most Canadians are a bunch of fake gaslighting self-astrotufing NPCs
My guess is the critical mass of Canadians is Conservative
Not good enough to just vote con, need to vote PPC. How many voted PPC?

My whole point is we'll probably never really know just how many people voted for the Conservatives let alone for Maxime Bernier's PPC. Doesn't matter. The system is rigged (and a LOT of people know this which means a LOT of people don't even bother to vote). What's important is people are waking up, enough to shift the tide with regard to how all of this will, likely, play out in the near future.

Canadians elected Mark Carney through democratic means, he will get his majority too. I don’t understand the end goal but we have never veered off our destined path; to be completely beholden to a bunch of technocrats.

I have to disagree. Carney was selected and installed. It was anything but democratic. A Venezuelan whistleblower, formerly with Venezuelan Intelligence and currently in U.S. custody, admitted that Venezuela meddles in the elections of 72 countries using the Smartmatic software that was developed for Hugo Chavez in the early 2000's. Dominion , ES&S and other election machines use this software that was designed to be easily manipulated in order to sway elections. And, they do it remotely.

I have known about Smartmatic for a while and thought it was a very real possibilty it was being used to influence Canadian elections. Now, I have little doubt that Canada is one of the 72 countries.

@border_humper Paper ballots but, likely, Dominion tabulators. IMO, that's where the shenanigans happen. Also, consider a couple of other things. First, outside of Quebec, we have 4 federal parties in Canada, of which 3 are, more or less, idealogically aligned. It's known that the Smartmatic software can switch votes to and from candidates. With 3 other candidates to shift votes from, it makes the theft of votes less visible and more believable that a particular candidate won. Seriously, who's going to question that the Greens and PPC got hardly any votes? There's a distinct possibility that they got many more votes than what it looks like.

Second, they only have to cheat from the Maritimes to the Ontario/Manitoba border. Everybody knows that the elections are pretty much decided before the polls close in Manitoba. However, the western provinces are, more or less, left to vote as they will. That scenario gives the illusion of a free and fair election. It also helps fuel the east/west divide. Anybody paying attention knows that the PTB thrive on division.

The same scenario plays out in Quebec but, with 5 federal parties. They have to let the Bloc win a number of seats in order to make the election look legit. Nobody, even outside Quebec, would believe it if the Bloc got shut out.

Also, I don't believe that this is the only way that elections are swayed. The bought and paid for MSM play a major role. How many people that legitimately voted for Carney had ever heard of him before the last election? He had no political footprint yet, in a very short period of time, he was the leading candidate? That shows the power of a complicit media and bullshit polls. We know normies actually believe that bullshit so, that's a factor.

If there is one thing to be learned from the 2020 U.S. election steal is that the PTB will use any and all means to get the results they want. I don't think Canada, or the rest of the world, is any different. Based on that, I partially agree with you. The voting machines were a factor but, not the only one. I can't prove my theory any more than anyone can disprove it. I have friends that have been poll watchers and they tell me there's no way, at that level, that the counts can be manipulated. I asked them where those numbers go after that. They didn't know. That's why I believe the steal, in Canada, happens at, or after, the tabulation stage. Again, just a theory but, I'm open minded to any other possibilities and theories.

Democracy doesn't make sense when the voters are over 80% retarded.
