Judge says no to Alberta separation.

An Alberta judge tasked with reviewing the constitutionality of a proposed referendum question on the province separating from Canada is calling a new government bill undemocratic, as it aims to render his decision moot.

Court of King’s Bench Justice Colin Feasby, in a decision issued Friday, wrote that the question as proposed goes against provincial referendum rules — but those rules are set to be changed to let those behind the campaign start collecting signatures regardless of the decision.

Looks like we're to the point where judges like in the US are just making shit up so they can rule random shit illegal like they're going into the US to the Trump administration.

If supposedly Alberta's not allowed to do it how the fuck did Quebec do it twice? Oh well looks like an opinion and nothing more no legal standing so they can go fuck themselves.

It won't be long give it a few years before judges say all the treaties that were signed with the Indians are nill and void because it was done under distress and they were uneducated savages the white man was dominating them.

Yep then another one said yes and over road that judge so it goes forward

I like hell they pretend Indians are going to lose their land or how would they handle that still being federal land if Alberta did separate is like assholes you know we still have Federal parks in Alberta the federal government controls it'll just be the same thing.

We all know the liberal government would through the entire legal system at Alberta and get the unions to go on strike if they did think Alberta would separate.

Okay cool I didn't know that thanks for an update. It's the same thing in the US on Trump a judge says you can't do that a week later a higher judge overrules that.

If judges and lawyers are going to whine about ‘protecting the rule of law’ then they need to stop this partisan hack legislating from the bench.

They will not, but that is what is causing contempt for their version of ‘the rule of law’ among the old stock. Most new Canadians are not bringing respect for ‘the rule of law’ from the hellholes they come from.

Judges have been making up shit since 1982. Parliament and Legislatures don't really make laws any more, they're just for show, Judges make laws, we live in a Kritocracy.

What people don't understand in Canada is most of the judge's are liberal yes we had eight years of Harper but we also had what 40 plus years of liberals and all these old ass judges are all installed by liberals back then or by Trudeau in the last 10 years and no one paid the fuck attention.

I remember Harper saying he didn't want to stack the Senate before he left because he feels it should be the next government's thing it's like dude they're happy to do it you need to play just so-called dirty as they do.
