Television has always been about mind control. As the old joke says, "there's a reason they call it programming"

Absolutely.

Lately it has become a lot more blatant... all advertising indicating that gays or mixed couples are 90% of the population, that all white men are idiotic buffoons.

TV shows and movies telling young women and girls they can easily take on a room full of 6' men easily (lara croft etc), and then movies telling us all how easy it is to be snipers or gunslingers with no training... and of course magazines that never run out and bullets that don't hurt.

I've resorted to downloading probably about 100 old movies from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s and watch them when I want dumb down entertainment. Just watched 'They Live' yesterday, that movie is apt for this discussion. I don't watch current TV, news, or sports... it is all propaganda and distraction.

Actually... now that you got me thinking about it, I think sports is even a bigger problem. Keeps all the men distracted from the problems we face. Bread and circuses.
