Inglore, India: Police say the act was triggered by frustration over alleged inaction in a rape and blackmail case.

Two men, Akshay Kumaon & Pankaj Jain, posing as journalists, allegedly raped and extorted a trans person three months ago.

Officials say all 24 are now stable.
