I mean they aren't wrong. Just a few years ago the military and police were enforcing lockdowns. The SDQ had no issues with trampling truck convoy people. To the contrary they were quite happy about it. In the end the military or the police are doing what they are told to do, and not necessarily what they should do.

If you don’t like Trump sending the Guard into cities to maintain order, then I’m sure you also disagree with Eisenhower federalizing the Guard to desegregate public schools.
