Judges can do what they wish but if the executive does what it wishes then what can judges do? Not a fooking thing.

Not sure about Canada but SCOTUS enacted and repealed Roe v Wade so apparently courts can legislate as well.

Sorry, the Supreme Court ruled long ago that they can override anything Parliament says, they made themselves gods, and I don't think anyone in our government has the balls to topple them.
