On Tuesday, May 6, 2025, the victim attended the accused’s residence to provide cleaning services in which she was contacted for through an online platform. Once inside, it is alleged that the victim was sexually assaullted and threatened.
On Wednesday, May 7, Ravinder Dhaliwal, a 27-year-old man from Mississauga, was arrested and charged on for the following criminal offences:
• Assault
• Sexual Assault
• Sexual Assault – Strangle
• Forcible Confinement
• Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
Dhaliwal was held for bail hearing and appeared at Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
