"Oh you're black? You're free to go."

JEET JEET JEET JEET
Superior Court Justice Renu Mandhane

Became a judge in 2020. Let's see what she did before that

Renu Mandhane was the Chief Commissioner of the Ontario Human Rights Commission from October 2015 until May 2020. Renu appeared before parliamentary standing committees and led public inquiries into discrimination in policing, education and child welfare. Under her leadership, the OHRC obtained an order from the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario requiring Ontario to prohibit segregation for prisoners with mental health disabilities. Renu’s work has been recognized by the International Commission of Jurists, the Office of the Correctional Investigator, Excellence Canada, Canadian Lawyer Magazine, and Desi Magazine. In 2018, she was gifted an eagle feather in recognition of her efforts to advance Indigenous reconciliation.

Oh, and... scroll down to Part 11. It's all so tiresome.

Activist judge. The type that dates bad boys who beat her in her 20s, break up, then come back for more.
revealed the shocking treatment of Adam Capay who was held in solitary confinement on remand for over 4 years in the Thunder Bay jail
Fucking human cancer. I think judges should be elected by the public like any politician.

"In her ruling, Mandhane accepted that Gandhi did not believe he was treating the Black male driver any differently because of race. However, he “was influenced by his unconscious racial biases” when deciding how to treat the driver, who was in his mid-30s at the time of the stop. (The Star is not identifying the man because he is no longer facing criminal charges in the case.)"

So an Indian cop was showing "unconscious racial bias" against a black driver, according to an Indian judge, and the criminal gets off. Yay, Canada!

Our judges are now apparently endowed with psychic abilities. "Maybe you did not act in a guilty manner, but reading your mind I can see that your thoughts were guilty". Medieval-tier superstition

That's exactly what current critical legal theory is - little more than Voodoo-level sophistry - and you're seeing it deployed in real time. Love him or hate him, Jordan Peterson said that the post-modern/critical theory/Marxist ideologies taking hold in law schools frightened him more than any other development in academia. Now we're seeing the fulfillment of that concern.

So if you're a nigger, busted with an illegal gun in your car what do you get? Released. Canadian "Justice" strikes again.

HirudineaThe cop had recently stopped a white woman with a suspended license, no gun in the back seat and wrote her a ticket and let her go.

He then stopped a black dude with a suspended license, pending charges in Toronto, and a gun in the back seat that was illegal.

Totally the same in both circumstances, right? Wtf.
