‘Thank you, P.E.I.’: Premier Dennis King resigns after six years

PEI is a beautiful little island. Poor leadership will ruin that pretty fast. I was there in 2014, before the Jeet invasion. I'd hate to see it now.

I was there in the summer and it truely is an amazing place. The earth if you have not seen it is red.

I dont want to spoil the Anne of Green Gables thing so i wont. I will admit even as a fellow that got dragged along it was very entertaining i did enjoy my time.

Lots to do for kids which was nice. Cavendish has some good entertainment spots i.e water parks, amusement parks, mini golf, etc etc. My kids really enjoyed the beaches but beware of the red sand beaches as that stuff is terrible. I was near the Thunder Cove region and spent a few weeks there. Sand in region is very nice. Beaches were surprisingly clean.

I have never ran on a beach so for me to get out in the morning and go for a tear down those beaches was nice 10/10 would do it again.

If you ever go bring a wind break or beach fence and hammer / something to drive pegs into ground. I used this one and it worked great. I could stay in the sun while people chased their stuff as the wind blew it around. Kids could warm up and hit the ocean. In general it made the experience way nicer

The Maritimes is on my bucket list. I would love to do a motorcycle trip through that region. I've never been further east than Ottawa, as my Dad was from the Perth area and that's as far as we went when we traveled east.

The scenery is very pretty here, but I'd describe it as "generic Canadian" (trees, lakes, large hills/small mountains) on the whole except for the ocean, which is what sets it apart. Plus the people are very friendly and you get fresh seafood
