This shit makes me so very very furious. I don’t know why people still fall for it, I wish I could cull those people instead of any birds.
There’s an ostrich farm in BC being forced to cull 400 ostriches. Bird flu went through their flock, killed a bunch of mostly young birds and then moved on. The rest of the flock is now healthy and happy and thriving.
They’re scheduled to be murdered by the CFIA on February 1st. What an absolute shit show. Funny how it takes weeks to set a cull date when this oh so dangerous and threatening disease is found. Funny how it doesn’t matter that the birds have gone through and survived said super duper scary disease.
I don’t know how much longer I can stand this BS of lies lies lies and fear mongering or the people who are stupid enough to fall for it still.

I’m part of a gaybook group about chickens. Every 10min someone is asking about bird flu. The general consensus of replies is “turn the tv off” and “this is fake and gay”.
Promising I know. Problem is no one is holding anyone to account still and the killing continues. What does it take exactly for people to say enough already?!
