Yeah, tell me something I don't know, English Canadian culture has been under attack since the 60's, for example,

I'm sorry but we can't have 2 cultures in this country and since the Quebecois have taken the government (try being PM without speaking French) it has been decided that English Canadian culture must be destroyed, considering there's any of it left after over half a century of full on assault shows it's resilience, although it is on it's last legs.

Great article. Raises some good questions. I remember when Parks Canada put all these historical figures under "review". It flew under the radar how significant it would be because it meant taking down all the plaques and essentially erasing these men from history. The John A museum in Kingston was closed for years only to reopen with trigger warnings on everything because of the orange shirt gang.

Great read, thanks. Canada is being emptied of historicity, the "history" they'll invent to create a sense of nationality in the face of US statehood threats is going to be, I bet, absolutely revolting or "guys, remember Terry Fox".
