Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and Sinn Féin are all political movements born out of the Irish revolution. The idea that in the space of a single century, they can go from Michael Collins, Pádraig Pearse and Éamon de Valera to Leo Varadkar and Michael Martin defies credibility. It's insane to think that in 1925 these people's direct predecessors would tell you that saying "Ireland for the Irish" makes you a hero, but in 2025 saying "Ireland for the Irish" makes you a racist.
