American oil companies have invested billions into projects in Canada, seems unlikely they would be forced to take a loss. As well from a strategic standpoint it makes sense to keep the majority of our oil flowing into the USA instead of being sold to the highest bidder.

We don't export anything except our oil to the USA to be refined and then sold back to us at a premium anyways.

He could nullify NAFTA for sure, I wouldn't be surprised if he does for re-negotiation, but until he does it's idle threat and literally click-bait for the MSM. It lets OUR MSM go FearPorn but nothing will really happen on our end and keep the plebs in line.

We are the 7th largest exporter in the world. I agree that it's bullshit that the people of this country only receive a tiny portion of the tremendous amount of natural wealth we have.

For share of US imports we are #2 behind Mexico and ahead of China at #3

We are the #1 importer of US goods, followed by Mexico and China.

Given that the USA is the only country we share a land border with it is logical that the majority of our trade is with the United States.

My prediction is the Liberals will make damn sure that Canada doesn't get a deal.

The Liberals will sacrifice the economy and Canadian workers to make sure they can run a political campaign against Donald Trump and, of course, Alberta. The Liberals will divide Canadians just like they did during Covid with their vaccinated vs. unvaccinated election campaign. This time it will be the corrupt Liberals presented as "Team Canada" and everyone who is against them as "traitors".

Any premier that aligns with the Trudeau Liberals should be treated as just as guilty as the Liberals themselves.
