If you look at what's being discussed in mainstream spaces, by left-wing and establishment content creators and publications, you'll see that the Woke is definitely dying. The directive has come down from on high that Woke messaging is harming their ability to maintain their social and cultural dominance, and might jeopardize the supply of competent white boys they need to go and die in their wars.
So now all of the outlets, companies, governments and content creators who spent years pushing Woke propaganda and enacting DEI policies are all pretending they never did that, and shifting their focus to more practical concerns like the war in Ukraine and their fall-back scare tactics like climate change. At the same time, right-wing slop accounts keep trying to farm clicks and outrage by hyper-focusing on the dwindling examples of Woke extremism that still exist, enabling the leftists to portray Woke as a right-wing conspiracy theory that never really existed, as they are all now pretending they never believed in any of it.
The extremist fringe of the left, the true believers who depend on woke ideology for their sense of purpose and identity, will never abandon it. But the actual movers and shakers, the corpos and governments, the NGOs and international organizations, have recognized that they can no longer use Woke messaging and tactics to exercise their control over society. So they are now not only abandoning Woke, but acting like they were never on board with any of it and accusing everyone who points out that they were of being propagandists and paranoid extremists. And the normies, who have the collective memory of a goldfish, are eating that message up.
So yes, Woke is dying, but that doesn't mean there will ever be any accountability for the harm it has caused or all the lives it's ruined. Just because Woke is fading, doesn't mean we're winning.
