Greenland was called that because it used to be green...but it went through a cold cycle. Different regions go through different natural cycles of warm/cold. Unfortunately, now we're in an unnatural cycle mainly due to the geoengineering...all I'm gonna say to the "climate scientists" who want to alter our natural system - FAFO...FAFO

Greenland was named Greenland because Erik the Red (the guy who discovered it) wanted colonists and didn't think "Even fucking colder than Iceland Land" would sell. But you are right in saying Greenland was warmer in the past, and then it cooled and the colonists who were there died out. I think we're just recovering from the "Little Ice Age" in the 1600s (or 1500s?).
