@Nink: What I remember most strongly about that election was the next morning in my university class where the professor asked what we thought about the Reform Party's strong showing... when I indicated my support, he looked at me like he wanted to rip my fucking guts out. He was normally a very nice guy too, old-fashioned outlook etc. but clearly the brainwashing about the Fourth Reich was just as strong even back then. A couple of years later he was shitcanned from the university for not being diverse enough
