Dalhousie University Food Inflation report

I've been keeping my grocery bills since spring 2020... when they started printing money like crazy to give out all that welfare to people and corps, it was obvious then that prices would go up after all that inflation so I wanted to have a way to track it for real as gov't stats are bullshit.

I've never sat and gone through them, it's too depressing. I should though...
 
Take one receipt from past and one from now and post the price of stuff you commonly use and price difference. It would be very interesting to see
 
The other day I found a list of property prices I'd compiled back in 2000 while house-hunting in my area... it's heartbreaking: "3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with ocean view on 1 acre... $49,900"; "3 bedroom on 80 acres of woods, $52,000", etc. Granted that these were located far from the nearest city, but that $50K today will at best get you an acre-sized building lot along the highway
