It's not "my" science, it's the sum of measured and empirical human knowledge accumulated over millennia culminating in modern physics and astronomy, that breaks.
While corrupt science exists, definitely, and self serving interpretation of data exists, you wouldn't have a computer to type this on, if modern physics wasn't pretty much correct.
That said I'm perfectly open to simulation hypothesis and that the vast distances of space are an illusion. Some of the highest IQ people on earth have well structured reasoning in this regard.

Very improbable given the sum of human knowledge to date. But I do concede there is more to reality than meets the eye.
