Half my office knows I voted for Trump. Since I’m from the US, a few people asked me what I thought, and I told them the truth—I’m happy with how it turned out, and I voted for him. Plus, they have a TV in the lunchroom, and there was no way I could hide my smile when I saw the news saying Trump won again. Someone else at work mentioned a woman was complaining about it, but she’s also very pro-Trump. All the guys I talked to were fine with it, even those who don’t like him aren’t overly extreme about it here.
Interestingly, the HR lady here approached me and said she wasn’t happy with how the US voted. I responded, “If you don't like Trump, he was picked to do a job, not to be your dinner guest.” She paused and said, “Oh, that’s a good point.”
I fucking refuse to hide who I am. This is a god damn win and I'm happy about it.
