We were trying to adjust the forum to have thread likes, and re-organize some of the old threads. In doing so, we accidentally deleted almost all of the old threads in the old 'General' folder/forum (everything from the beginning of the site in mid-May to this Friday past). So, we had a choice, use our back-up from this Saturday 6AM, lose everything from after that time til now (Sunday 4 AM), OR, lose everything in the old 'General' folder/forum prior to Friday at 3 PM or so (i.e., that is, mid-to-late-May 2021 to mid-to-late June 2021). As such, we opted for the former. We were also thought we were on the clock, because if we didn't re-upload everything soon, the system would auto-backup again, and we risked losing more data (turns out that wasn't the case, but, the longer we waited to back up, the more new data we would lose anyways).
By reverting back to the Saturday 6 AM back-up, we lost the following data (from between Saturday 6 AM & Sunday 4 AM):
- any new accounts that were made,
- any profile changes you guys and girls may have made,
- any threads posted,
- any comments made,
- any reactions (likes) of comments/posts,
- any upvotes from the new upvoting system made,
- any DM's you had from that time, and,
- any site changes we made (e.g., about half of the new flairs, the thread upvote system, a few minor colour changes to one of the forum colour templates/themes)
Most if not all of those site changes have been restored now.
We DID however take the time to archive many of the new threads from Saturday 6 AM onwards. Though, we seem to have missed about 1/3 - 1/2 of them. Our apologies.
Please feel free to re-post any of the threads which we managed to back up.
